In this post, we are going to look at another 8085 program using which we will store the content of a memory location in any register using immediate addressing mode.
In order to begin, we will need to store an 8-bit in a memory location. And then we will use copy the content of that memory location in HL register. Once we copy the content of the ML into HL register pair, then we will copy it into one of the general purpose registers.
Let the 8-bit data be ABH, and the memory location be 2000H. And last but not the least, the GPR be D register.
LXI H,2000H //the content of memory location gets loaded in HL register pair
MOV D, M // we use MOV instruction to store the copied into D register
