RIE CEE:

RIE CEE is conducted by the Regional Institute of Education. Admission in courses like B.Sc., B. Ed., etc. can be taken after clearing this examination. Apart from those, admission in courses like M. Sc., M. Ed., can also be taken after clearing this exam. Admission in some joint courses is available after this examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for students who want to pursue B.Sc. B.Ed., courses in Physical Science group should have passed 10+2. The Candidates need to have minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Those who are interested in pursuing a career in Biological Science need to have minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 5% relaxation is provided for ST/SC/PD Candidates.

Science Entrance Exams after 12th

GSAT:

The GITAM University organises GSAT Entrance Exams. This University offers undergraduate courses to the students who have completed 10+2. Courses in Environmental Management, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Computer Applications are available after clearing this examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed/ appeared/ appearing in 10+2 can only appear for this exam. They are required to have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subjects in 10+2. They should also have 50% aggregate marks in the above-mentioned subjects. Reservations for the ST/SC/PH students are also available. How to Apply:

Students who are interested in applying for the GSAT examination need to download the application form from the Official Website of the institution. The students can also obtain the Application from the principal of the institution.

For that, they need to send an application to the principal with a demand draft of Rs.300. The demand draft should be for GITAM University payable at Vishakhapatnam. If the candidate appears for multiple exams, then he/she need to send separate applications and demand drafts.

The application form should be sent back to the principal of GITAM Institute of Science, GITAM University, Rushikonda, Vishakhapatnam-530 045. Along with the application form Date of birth certificates and necessary qualifying, certificates should also be attached. Caste certificates and Medical certificates should be attached by those belonging to ST/SC/PH categories.

NEST:

NEST is organised by the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar. It is an essential exam for those who are interested in taking admission in a 5-year integrated M.Sc. course. The Department of Atomic Energy Center of Excellence in Basic Science, Mumbai also conducts these entrance exams.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are interested in applying for this exam should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination. The minimum marks requirement for the ST/SC/PD candidates is 55%. Candidates who are born after or on 1st 1997 are only eligible, and a 5year relaxation is provided for the ST/SC/PD students. OBC students need to submit their OBC certificates. The candidates are required to have cleared their 10+2 exams in 2015 or 2016. Candidates appearing in the 10+2 exams of 2017 are also eligible.

How to Apply:

Students need to apply via online mode. Click Here to visit the online portal. The examination fees can be paid by online and offline mode. The online payment can be made through credit card/debit card or by net banking. The offline payment should be made through demand draft (DD). The Demand Draft should be sent to the Chief Coordinator of the Institution along with the application form.
