  • By Air: Kheria Airport in Agra is the nearest airport to reach Taj Mahal. In fact, they are only connected by Air India Flight from New Delhi. But they are a seasonal commercial airport. From the Kheria airport, it’s near about 13 km to reach the main Agra City. Get a taxi that would take just 15-20 minutes.
  • By Train: To go Agra, you can get regular trains very easily from Delhi, Jhansi, Jaipur, and Gwalior. In fact, the place is also connected with other cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai etc. You will find 5 railway stations in Agra: Agra Cantt Station is the main, Raja Ki Mandi, Agra Fort Railway Station, Idgah Railway Station, Agra City.
  • By Road: Agra also has two main bus terminals such as  Idgah Bus Stand and ISBT. This easily connects to other cities like Delhi, Kanpur, Jaipur, Lucknow etc. However. if you are staying in Delhi then you can also hire cars which will take around 4-5 hours journey.

  • By Air: Bhuntur Airport is also known as Kullu-Manali airport is the nearest destinations to reach.
  • By Road: From Delhi, you can easily reach Manali through NH 1 up to Ambala. Again from Ambala NH 22 to Chandigarh. From Chandigarh by NH 21.Hence the total distance to reach Manali from Delhi is 570 km. There are many tourists luxury buses available.
  • By Train: It’s sad to know that there is no nearest railway station to reach Manali.

5. Water Diving in Andaman:

  • By Air: The main airport is Vir Savarkar Airport which is in Port Blair. Apart from that, they are also connected with Chennai and Kolkata.
  • By Sea: From Chennai, Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam regular ship services are available to Port Blair. However, it would take 55-60 hours approximately to reach.

  • By Air: To reach Srinagar, it has its International Airport named as Sheikh Ul Alam Airport. Approximately only 15 km away from the main city.
  • By Train: Srinagar Railway Station is in the construction process, however, you have to go to Udhampur Railway Station. From there itself you can get taxis easily.
  • By Road: For traveling on road, it is not suitable unless you go through Jammu.

7. Explore Cherapunjee:

By Train: The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi Railway Station which is 700 km from Ladakh. From there itself you can a bus or a cab to reach Ladakh.

By Road: The best enjoyment traveling to Ladakh is especially by Bike or Jeep. In fact, you can go from Delhi, Chandigarh by bikes.

12. Lonavla:

  • By Air: As you know that Lonavla do not have airports facility so one have to go Pune International Airport. From the airport itself, you can avail a bus or a prepaid taxi.
  • By Train: Trains are available to reach Lonavla every after 2 hours in Pune as because Pune is well connected with trains.
  • By Road: To reach Lonavla you could easily find regular buses which are connected with other places.

13. Thar Desert:

The Thar Desert in Jaisalmer Rajasthan has many places you need to go before you turn old. Trust me!! you can never get disappointed after visiting the places.   • By Train: Jaisalmer Railway Station is the nearest railway station which is 5 km from the main town.
  • By Road: Just outside the railway station, you will find the bus stand to reach Thar desert.
