OnePlus smartphones have made a mark for themselves since the arrival of their first smartphone; OnePlus One. This year the company launched their new flagship smartphone; OnePlus 5.
No one except OnePlus knows what happened with the OnePlus 4.
OnePlus is one of the few smartphone brands which comes out with only one high-end flagship smartphone every year.
The OnePlus 5 is to be one of the fastest and powerful Android smartphones available in the market right· now, thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and 8 Gigs of RAM.
Last year, we saw the arrival of the OnePlus 3 and then later on the company launched another model; OnePlus 3T, both the smartphones are almost same, in the OnePlus 3T you get the Snapdragon 821 chipset, whereas in the OnePlus 3 you had the Snapdragon 820 chipset.
With being said, for the past few days, news on the street is that OnePlus 5T may be launched sooner than expected. Even though there is no confirmation but it is believed that the 5T will come out eventually, however, if the rumors are to be believed, the OnePlus 5T is expected to be launched by December.
Moving on, this year OnePlus’s OnePlus 5 came with several improvements which included the design, camera, and RAM.
From the leaked images it pretty much clear that OnePlus have done some changes in the OnePlus 5T, the first noticeable change is the display.
The OnePlus 5T will feature a bezel-less display, and from the image, it’s clear the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back.
If the leaked images to be believed that the OnePlus 5T is rumored to have a 5.7-inch or 6-inch display. Although, it will still be a 1080p display, not a 2K display. But the display seems to be a bezel-less display as it’s going to behave an aspect ratio of 18:9.
The OnePlus 5T will not be running on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat), instead, it is rumored that the device will be running on Android v 8.0 (Oreo) right out of the box.
The chipset will remain the same i.e. Snapdragon 835. Unlike the OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5T will only be available with 8 GB of RAM, and will only have 128 Gigs of internal storage.
The camera setup at the rear is expected to remain the same, so at the rear, you’ll get the same 16 MP + 20 MP dual-camera setup.
Nevertheless, at the front, you may get a dual-camera setup like the one at the rear, as you can see from the leaked images. The front might have 8 MP + 12 MP setup or a 12 MP + 12 MP setup.
The OnePlus 5T will feature the same 3300 mAh battery, we already saw in the OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 5 lower variant is priced at Rs 32,999, whereas the higher-variant costs Rs. 37,999. As far as the pricing of OnePlus 5T is concerned, it is expected that the device will be priced around Rs 38K.
Note:- All the information given above are based on leaked images and rumors, there hasn’t been any confirmation by OnePlus.
