Facebook Messenger To Bring New Disappearing Feature Like SnapChat?
Facebook Messenger to get a new feature like SnapChat and Instagram Stories that allows any user to post any photos or videos and it will expire within24 hours.
Facebook’s head of product for Messenger, Stan Chudnovksy have made an announcement in Facebook Blog Post that it will be launching Messenger Day with added features similar to Instagram and SnapChat stories a new disappearing feature.
Facebook have recently added a huge change in its camera feature which includes stickers, filters, frames and masks. The new camera feature lets the users to simply tap on the app and then tap on the camera button. Just like a SnapChat app, Facebook Messenger will allow the users to add filters as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as well as like candy canes. But it is uncertain whether the photos or videos on Facebook Messenger will disappear itself automatically or not unlike SnapChat that disappears itself within 24 hours.
In a recent post by Stan Chudnovksy said that “At the end of the last year, we launched Messenger’s new fast, powerful built-in camera to help make your conversations better than ever.”
He also added saying, “At the same time, we also began testing a way for you to share these photos and videos as they happen, by adding to your Messenger Day, where many of your friends can view and reply to them.”
It is likely that the new addition of disappearing feature may be alike to that of SnapChat and Instagram stories and this feature may also include other features like to add text to any selective photos, arts, and effects.
