Today while Checking analytics traffic report on one of my personal blog, I found one unique source of traffic from where I was getting referral traffic. Weird thing was that there was ‘0’ unique traffic out of ’10’, without wasting anytime I searched for the same name over Google also checked the direct URL. Which was getting redirected to some other commercial site.

On the same time I checked the analytic traffic of my main blog ChromeTechny, I found the same thing over here. I was little worried about this matter, but as every problem has its own solution. Hence, I looked around for solution and came to understand it takes little time to stop such traffic. It is negative sign in search engines point of view which might lead your site to be marked as spam.

To Avoid this spam traffic counts in your Google Analytic you can use certain features of Google Analytic account to avoid certain spam traffic count in your Google Analytic account.

If you are a blogger you must have known what Google analytic is, it basically measures your website traffic along with various data like country, referral source, landing pages & many more.  Out of many features if you have missed it out, you also find a feature termed as ‘Filter‘. Which allows you to filter any kind of spam traffic in your analytic account which may help you to understand the exact valuable traffic you got by filtering all spam traffic which comes from a unexisting websites like

Steps to Block Such Spam Traffic:

Follow the steps given below:

  • Sign in to your Google Analytic Dashboard.
  • Go to Admin << All Filter
  • Click Add new Filter.
  • Name your Filter Manually from your end.
  • Add domain name of the spam domain.
  • Select All Data as default.
  • Save now !! Done!!!

To avoid such things in future you can block it in your Dashboard from now.” – Block Now!!
