For the last couple of years, WWE has used the theme of Bragging Rights PPV in the Survivor Series PPV making it less of Survival matches and more matches for brand supremacy as superstars from RAW and SmackDown compete against each other.
This year’s Survivor Series PPV will also feature matches between RAW and SmackDown Superstars.
However, unlike last year, this time WWE will put a champion vs champion match as the main event. Smack Down’s top champion Jinder Mahal will face RAW’s top champion Brock Lesnar in a non-title match.
The challenge was initially thrown by WWE champion Jinder Mahal and on this week’s RAW, the match was made official by RAW’s General Manager Kurt Angle.
Many WWE fans hate the idea of putting someone not deserving to face someone who is a once in a lifetime superstar; Brock Lesnar, but it’s official now.
The outcome of the match may not be the way most fans want it to be. So, here are the 5 possible outcomes of the Champion vs Champion match.
#5.A neat and clean win for Brock Lesnar
Like mentioned before, many consider it as an embarrassment that someone like Brock Lesnar will have to face Jinder Mahal, some also consider that he shouldn’t WWE champion at all, but WWE is trying to promote their business in India and that is why WWE is keeping Jinder Mahal as the WWE champion.
Jinder Mahal will drop the title by Royal Rumble PPV to John Cena, as WWE plans to make Cena a 17-time champion.
Moving on, one possible outcome of the match could be a clean win for Lesnar. Brock Lesnar is barely human so it would no surprise if the beasts get a clean win over Jinder Mahal, in fact, WWE universe would very match happy with this outcome.
#4. Paul Heyman turns on Brock Lesnar
For those of you who don’t know, Brock Lesnar is set to leave WWE right after Wrestlemania 34. He is planned to join UFC after leaving WWE, so at Wrestlemania, he will be dropping the championship belt to Roman Reigns.
This also gives a valid reason to believe that Paul Heyman may turn on Brock Lesnar like the way he turned on CM Punk back in 2013 thereby costing Lesnar the match at the Survivor Series PPV.
#3. Forcible stop to the match
Remember the last time Brock Lesnar faced a SmackDown superstar the match had to be forcibly stopped. I am talking about the match between Randy Orton vs Brock Lesnar which took place at last year’s Summer Slam PPV.
During the match, Randy Orton’s forehead was busted wide open by Brock Lesnar.
The blood was flowing so fast that the match officials had to interfere and put an end to the match.
The same thing could be replicated at this year Survivor Series PPV, so Jinder Mahal may enter the match fit and fine but may not leave on his own.
#2. Interference by Singh brothers
Jinder Mahal is not liked and even is considered not worthy of having the WWE championship belt when he became WWE champion, he beat Randy Orton but he didn’t win the match on his own, he had to rely on Singh brother’s assistance.
And again it was the Singh brothers who helped Jinder Mahal to win the matches when he defended the WWE championship title against Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura.
#1. Quick win by Jinder
One of the memorable matches of last year had to be the match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar which took place at last year’s Survivor Series PPV.
The returning Goldberg destroyed the beast within 1 minute 23 seconds, this was a complete shocker and fans all around the world couldn’t believe that Goldberg actually beat Lesnar in such dominant fashion.
Now many experts have predicted that WWE may pull off something like this in this year’s PPV too.
So, these were the 5 possible outcomes of the match between Brock Lesnar and Jinder Mahal. If Jinder Mahal beats Brock Lesnar in quick fashion, not only it will be a shocker but this will also Jinder Mahal at another level.
